Terms of Service — C Black Studios

Welcome to C Black Studios, the online gallery and shop of artist Colleen Black, based in Tacoma, Washington. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. Artwork and images All artwork, images, and text on this site are © Colleen Black and are protected by copyright. Purchasing an original or a print transfers ownership of the physical object only. It does not include reproduction rights. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any image for commercial purposes without written permission.

2. Limited editions Edition sizes are stated on each product page. Once an edition sells out, it will not be reprinted in that size and format. Each print is signed and numbered by the artist. Specific edition numbers can be requested and are subject to availability.

3. Color and appearance We work hard to show artwork accurately, but colors can look different from screen to screen. Original paintings may show natural brushwork and texture variations. These are part of the work, not defects.

4. Pricing and availability All prices are in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. Originals are one of a kind and sold on a first-come basis. If an item sells before your order is processed, we'll notify you and issue a full refund. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and cancel affected orders.

5. Orders and payment Payments are processed securely through our checkout provider. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, for example in cases of suspected fraud or error. Applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout.

6. Commissions Commissioned work is governed by a separate written agreement covering deposits, timelines, and approvals.

7. Shipping and returns Our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy are part of these terms.

8. Limitation of liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, C Black Studios is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of this site or our products. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order.

9. Governing law These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington.

10. Changes We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this site applies to your order.
