The Resurrection
"The Resurrection" embodies that pivotal moment in human history when Christ suffered for our sins and conquered death, both the death of sin and death of the grave, with the promise of eternal life. Our Redeemer expresses his deep and eternal love as he connects with his Father, our Father, as if to say, "not my will but the will of Him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all that He has given me, but raise them up the last day, for My Fathers will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life and I will raise them up the last day." (John 6: 39-40).
This moment, immediately following the crucifixion and captured in humble bronze, is meant to convey the love God has for each one of us. The sacrifice of His only begotten Son to pay a debt he did not owe for all of us who owe a debt we cannot pay.
The humble Job prophetically stated, "I know that my Redeemer lives and that in the end He will stand upon the earth." And this too is my testimony, that God has given us eternal life and this eternal life is His son.
