C. Black studios specializes in generating art that provokes one to experience possibility itself. . . Or just shear fun! Colleen's sculptures and paintings often depict different aspects of our humanity. For example, "Puppet", Colleen's most recent sculpture, embodies the moment when you discover that your life is what you make of it. Ribbon dancers are rumored to be controlled by external forces through the twirling ribbons, much like a marionette. The dancer depicted here carries a smirk on her face as she realizes that she is her own puppeteer.
